Cindy PardueLast season, Cindy was the assistant coach for Team Indiana 16-2 (Ninjas) with head coach Kristin Ahaus. The Ninjas had a very successful season which began with the squad playing in open-level competition preceding the qualifier season. The 16-2 squad finished 5th in 16 Open at the Central Zone Invite in Crystal Lakes, IL.   The Ninjas qualifier season was very successful even though they did not quality for the Junior Olympics.  They went 24-3 over three qualifiers: Silver Champions at Colorado Crossroads, 9th at the Mid East Qualifier and 5th at the North East Qualifier.  The Ninjas also won the 18 Club Championships at the Munciana Classic Tournament in June.  They finished their season with a 9-3 finish at AAU National Championships, winning the Championship Bracket (11th place finish).

In 2006, Cindy coached Team Indiana 16-2 (CHAOS) with head coach Kristin Ahaus. CHAOS had a very successful season which began with the squad playing in open-level competition preceding the qualifier season. The 16-2 squad finished 5th at Bluegrass Pre Qualifier in 16 open the weekend before MEQ. CHAOS followed up the success by winning the Silver Championships at MEQ with a 9-2 record. At the Lone Star Classic, CHAOS won their second Silver Championship by finishing the tournament 9-1. At the Hoosier Regionals, CHAOS finished 3rd to earn an American bid to the Junior Olympics in Atlanta. CHAOS had a very successful run at nationals by winning the Bronze Championships and finishing 17th out of 48 teams.  Cindy will begin her third year of coaching at Team Indiana as an assistant coach with 15-2 head coach, Kevin Kelley.

Cindy is a 1999 graduate of Greensburg High School. Cindy was very active in sports while in high school with volleyball being one of her loved sports. During her volleyball career, she earned four varsity letters and was a three year starter. Cindy was a team co-captain her junior and senior years. Her senior year, she was awarded the EIAC All-Conference award and MVP. In 1998, Cindy was part of the EIAC Conference Champions team, and she helped her team break the school record for most wins. She was awarded as being part of the All-Area Team two years in a row. In 1997 and 1998, Cindy was named All-State Honorable Mention.

Upon graduating from high school, Cindy continued her volleyball career at Marian College. Cindy played for the Marian Knights for three years and was a three year starter. In 1999, she was named Top Blocker and Most Improved. Cindy was a team co-captain during the 2001-2002 season. During this same season, she earned the Veteran’s Student Athlete Academic Award and Marian’s Top Women’s Student/Athlete Award. Cindy graduated from Marian in 2003 with a B.A. in Psychology. She attended graduate school at IUPUI where she earned her Masters in Social Work. Cindy currently works as a child and family therapist.
