It is Elizabeth’s first year coaching at Team Indiana, and she is excited to assist Kristn Ahaus with the 16-1 Asics team.
From Winfield, IL, Elizabeth is a graduate of West Chicago Community High School, where she played both basketball and volleyball. A middle hitter at Sports Performance VBC, she competed on the 18-1 team both her junior and senior year. Her team captured 18-open gold medals at nationals in 2003 and 2004.
Elizabeth earned a scholarship to play volleyball at Purdue University, where her team attended the NCAA tournament four years in a row. Two of those years were back to back Sweet Sixteen appearances. In 2005 she was named to the Nike Invitational all-tournament team. She currently is ranked 10th on Purdue’s career hitting percentage list, and was on the Academic All-Big Ten team all four years.
This past year Elizabeth moved to Indianapolis from Chicago to begin her PR & marketing position at Riley Children’s Foundation. She is planning on starting on her master’s degree in the near future.
