This will be Anitra’s 2nd year at Team Indiana and 7th year coaching volleyball. Anitra's volleyball coaching career began in 2004 at St. Thomas Aquinas, where she assisted the CYO Cadet A volleyball team for 2 years. In 2006 she became the head coach for the St. Thomas Aquinas CYO 56A volleyball team for 5 years. In 2009 she was the assistant Freshmen coach for Bishop Chatard and Freshmen head coach during the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

Anitra attended Muncie Burris (K-12) and graduated in 1994. At Muncie Burris Anitra (Tree) was the starting setter on the JV team (3 years) and her senior year played on varsity for the legendary Mr. Steve Shondell as a right side specialist and back up setter. By the way "Tree" was the nickname given to her by Steve Shondell. That year she helped Burris win yet another State title, right on the tail end of changing over to class divisions. After graduating from Muncie Burris she went on to Ball State University to study Graphic Design. She graduated Cum Laude from Ball State in 1998. She now owns her own graphic design business, is happily married to her high school sweetheart and has two children, one of which will playing right here at Team Indiana.
