Christina has an extensive background as a player and coach in club volleyball. She will begin her fifth year coaching at Team Indiana. During the 2007-2008 season, she was an assistant coach for the 16 Pumas who finished 5th at AAU Nationals in the 16 Club Division. During the 2008-2009 season, Christina assisted Larry Perez with 16 Pandemonium. After Larry relocated to Florida for a job promotion, Christina took over as the head coach. During the 2009-2010 club season, Christina assisted with 14 Reign who finished fifth in the 14 Open Division at AAU Nationals. Last season, she assisted with the 14 Bedazzled Marshmallows who were National Runner-Ups in the 14 Open Division at AAU Nationals. This year will be her third year assisting Brian Murray along with Erik Dobrota with the 14-1s.
Christina graduated from Roncalli High School in 1999 where she earned four varsity letters and was a four year starter. Her junior year she was named All-City, All Metro 2nd Team, All-State Honorable Mention, and the Indianapolis Star Female Athlete of the Week. Her senior year she was named All City, All Super Team, All Metro, All Star South Team, All State 2nd Team, a co-captain, and the team MVP. She helped lead Roncalli to an IHSAA 3-A State Title. Christina then accepted a Division I scholarship to Indiana State University. Christina graduated magna cum laude from ISU with a B.S. in Business.
Christina and her husband Brad, who is a teacher at Martinsville High School and the Varsity Defensive Coordinator for the football program, live in Greenwood.
