Elizabeth has been either playing or coaching the sport of volleyball for the past 11 years, and is excited to assist at Team Indiana for her third year . In 2010, she helped Kristin Ahaus coach the 16-1 Voltage team to the semi-finals at the AAU National Championship.

Originally from Winfield, Ill., Elizabeth is a graduate of West Chicago Community High School where she played both basketball and volleyball, earning All-Conference accolades. She competed as a middle-blocker with the Chicago-based Sports Performance VBC from 2001-2004, playing on the 18-1 team her junior and senior seasons. Both of those teams captured 18-Open gold medals at Nationals in 2003 and 2004.

Earning a scholarship to play volleyball at Purdue University, Elizabeth started as a freshman middle-blocker in the Big-Ten. Her team attended the NCAA tournament 4 years in a row, from 2004-2007. Two of those years were back to back NCAA ‘Sweet Sixteen’ appearances. In 2005, she was named to the Nike Invitational All-tournament team during preseason. Elizabeth earned Academic All-Big Ten honors every season of her collegiate career, and currently is ranked 10th on Purdue’s career hitting percentage list.

In 2009, she made Indianapolis her official home, moving from Chicago to begin her career in marketing and public relations at Riley Children’s Foundation.
