Erica has been active as a player and coach in club volleyball. While playing for Circle City Volleyball Club for six years she was a member of two third place 18 Open division teams. She has been coaching club volleyball for the past 8 years.
Most recently in the 10-11 season Erica was Team Indiana 13-1 (TI-Grrs) head coach. While at Team Indiana, Erica has coached 13-1's for the last tour years, previous to that she coached 17's. Erica's team have earned a 3rd and three 5th place finishes at AAU Nationals. This fall Erica joined fellow Team Indiana coach Rich Coleman's staff at Carmel High School. Erica's previous high school coaching experience includes one season as the Junior Varsity coach at Carmel High School and two years as Varsity Head Coach at Southport High School.
Erica graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1998. She was an two year All-Conference selection, team co-MVP and helped Jeff to a final four appearance in both her sophomore and senior seasons. Erica then accepted a Division I scholarship to IUPUI. She helped lead the Jaguars to the Mid-Continent Conference championship her junior year. She served as team co-captain as a senior and was also honored as the first recipient of the Mid-Continent Defensive Specialist of the Year award. |
