This is Kate's first year coaching with Team Indiana. She began her coaching career last year in Terre Haute, IN, as head coach for Crossroads of America (COA) 18-2s team. This year she will be assisting Chad Steider with 18 Navy team.

Originally from Crystal Lake, IL, she attended Marian Central Catholic High School in Woodstock where she played volleyball for all 4 years.In the off-season, Kate played club for Sky High Volleyball Club in Crystal Lake. She then attended Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN. During her career at Rose, Kate was a 4-year starting outside hitter. In her final college season, Kate helped lead the team as captain in establishing the best record in school history and appearing in the conference tournament for the first time in ten years.

As a recent graduate, Kate moved to Indianapolis and began working for the American Institute of Toxicology (AIT Laboratories).
