The 16 Voltage also had a very successful stint in the MEPL by beating rivals KIVA, Team Z and Munciana throughout the tourney dates. In May, the team won the 17 Open Division of the Team Indiana Classic without losing a set.
From the 2006 – 2009 club seasons, Kristin was the 16-2 Head Coach. During those four years Kristin led her teams to a 17th, 11th, 5th and 9th place finish at Nationals. The 16-2 Chaos team (2006) also qualified for the USAV National Championships as the only 2s team in the region. During the 2005 and 2006 qualifier season, Kristin’s teams ended with a 44-6 record. In 2007, Kristin had her first player awarded to the AAU All-American team (Sarah Dooms ’10).
In 2005, Kristin coached Team Indiana 17-2 Dingos with Michelle Sobocinski. The 17-2 squad, which played in open-level prior to the qualifier season, had a very successful season overcoming many unfortunate events. The team finished in 3rd at the Great Lakes Festival (17 open) and also won the Silver Championships in the Bluegrass Pre Qualifier (17 open). The team placed 21st at MEQ and 29th at NLQ. At the Hoosier Regionals, the Dingos took home a 3rd place finish granting them an American bid to the Junior Olympics in Salt Lake City.
